• Commitment to immediate reporting of all foodborne illness outbreaks

    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (45507304) dated (1/3/1446 AH), which refers to what was received by the Federation from the Saudi Health Council in letter No. (1-40349) dated (25/2/1446 AH) regarding the higher directives to tighten control and immediate reporting of foodborne disease outbreaks and food and chemical poisoning incidents, and to what was observed from some hospitals of delay in reporting or failure to report these incidents. The Federation urges health facilities to immediately commit to all foodborne disease outbreaks in a timely manner, as well as incidents of chemical and drug poisoning, in accordance with the work procedures and reported evidence that can be obtained through the Ministry of Health's digital portal or through the following two links  (http://go.ac.sa/vu8 )  (http://go.ac.sa/1xn)
