Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44105170) and the date (3/12/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the letter of the Saudi Health Council No. (7-35544) and the date (1/12/1444 AH), which includes the results of the committee’s minutes In charge of updating the mechanism of Cabinet Resolution No. (156) dated (9/14/1418 AH) regarding the necessary health controls for marriage with a non-Saudi party and the updates that have occurred, which are as follows:
- Extending the validity period of the medical examination for a marriage in which one of the parties is non-Saudi to become one year from the date of its issuance instead of six months.
-Cancellation of the requirement to conduct a medical examination for a marriage in which one of the parties is non-Saudi in specific examination centers, and it can be conducted in any of the medical examination centers before marriage in government and private sector facilities, according to the approved regulations.
-That an electronic examination report for the marriage of the Saudi party to the foreigner be issued with a barcode from the health platform, and it is the only approved report from all health sectors accredited by the Ministry of Health or outside, and no one else is accepted.
- Premarital examinations are not conducted for those under the age of 18 in the event that one of the parties to it is of non-Saudi nationality, except in accordance with what is included in the ninth paragraph of the Personal Status Law.
