Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter from King Abdulaziz Port No. (16/33/38/8027) dated (22/3/1444 AH), which includes a reference to the workshop held in the Asharqia Chamber on Thursday, September 8, 2022 AD, organized by the Logistics Committee.And the solutions discussed contribute to raising the operational efficiency of the stations, reducing the turnover rate of the truck and its reflection on the speed of loading and receiving containers at the stations, and the need for concerted efforts of all parties, including carriers, by matching the data of trucks, drivers and shipment with the appointment ticket to reach the desired operational efficiency.
Accordingly, the "Tadawul" company made modifications to the appointment reservation system by enabling the carrier to modify the data entered in the appointment reservation and match it with the data of the truck and its actual driver with the appointment ticket before it reaches the port.
Accordingly, the port administration would like to note that it will actually, in cooperation with the Saudi Company for Electronic Information Exchange “Taqwad”, implement the mandatory application of matching the data of trucks and drivers with the appointment ticket as of (26/4/1444 AH) corresponding to (20/11/2022 AD).
