Greetings,
Asharqia chamber would like to inform you that we have received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, number (4510364) dated (2/4/1445H), referring to the telegram from the General Authority for Foreign Trade, number (398) dated (20/3/1445H), attached to the previous telegram number (16878) dated (8/5/1444H). The letter states the completion of the automation process for travel permits for Saudi businessmen traveling to Iraq. The service is now available through the Ministry of Commerce's website (E-Services - Travel Permits for Investment Purposes).
The initiative was taken to fulfill the desire of Saudi businessmen to travel to Iraq to explore trade and investment opportunities, as well as participate in forums, exhibitions, and conferences in Iraq.
The Union also wishes to inform that a matrix related to incoming requests has been prepared, including the required documents for the applicant, to facilitate the process of issuing travel permits to the Republic of Iraq.
