Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you about receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (SG / 2699) dated 27/10 / 1439, which referred to the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (7540 / p) dated (24/10/1439) that includes the approval and issuance of SASO 2899/2018.
It is for disposable drinking water containers that are made of single-use polyethylene, and the importance that the standard represents in developing packaging requirements in order to ensure the safety and protection of the consumers.
It should be necessary to comply with the provisions of Article 4.3.3 regarding the design of containers, so as not to cause any collection or reflection of the sun falling on the surrounding environment, which causes the risk of ignition and combustion.
