Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44103277) and the date (8/8/1444 AH), and regarding the letter of the General Authority for Transport No. (1/44/6445) and the date (14/7/1444 AH) and which includes to Decision of His Excellency the Acting President of the Public Transport Authority No. (1/44/633) dated (6/11/1444 AH) The judge approved approving the work of the document specifying driving hours and daily and weekly rest for bus drivers working in the activities of specialized transport, renting and directing buses, and international transport of passengers by buses, provided that this decision is implemented after (90) days from the date of its publication in the official newspaper, where it was published On (29/1/2023 AD), and that is based on what was stated in Article (Thirty) of the regulations regulating the activity of specialized transport, renting and directing buses, which stipulated that “the driver who works with the licensee shall comply with the following: including what was stated in Paragraph (20) On: "Adherence to the approved daily and weekly rest working hours.” And Article Fifty-four of the same regulations stipulates A carrier who exercises activity between the cities of the Kingdom or outside it shall abide by the following controls, including what was mentioned in Paragraph (7) on "Restriction to the approved driving hours and daily and weekly rest ", And regarding Article (14) of the regulations regulating the activity of international passenger transport by buses, which stipulates that "the driver who works with the carrier shall undertake the following, including what is stated in Paragraph (19), to adhere to the approved driving hours and daily and weekly rest, The Authority wishes to circulate to all the activities mentioned to comply with the decision referred to in the document as per the attachment, and to notify and provide carriers and practitioners of specialized transport, leasing and routing of buses and international transport by buses to comply with it.
