Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you about the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / T 2109) dated (25/7/1439) that referred to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. (38159) dated (11/7/1439). It referred to the letter of the Deputy Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization for conformity and quality, which includes the decision of the Board of Directors of the Commission to adopt the mandatory Saudi standard.
The Board hopes that those concerned with wholesale, retail, distributors, and suppliers of products that fall within the scope of the mentioned Saudi standards will be required to obtain a card and a certificate of energy efficiency for this type of product through the electronic website prior to the mandatory application date on the outlets and factories. This would start from the date 20/1/1440. The mandatory application on the outlets and warehouses would be as of 2/1/1441.
