• Anti-dumping action against GCC imports of piston engine batteries

    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (45507050) dated (22/2/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries No. (A G/198) dated (20/8/2024 AD), regarding the decision of the Permanent Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries No. (58/15 G/2024) regarding the approval of accepting the Gulf Industrial Complaint and starting an anti-dumping investigation against the imports of the GCC countries of the product of piston engine batteries, which falls under the following customs item (85071000) of the unified customs tariff for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries originating or exporting from the People's Republic of China and Malaysia.

    The General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council is keen to provide an opportunity for all interested parties who are not known to it to participate in the investigation referred to above and to defend their interests during the period specified in the announcement of the start of the investigation, which includes a copy of the questionnaires of the Gulf factory/producer, importer and Gulf consumer, which can be downloaded electronically through the following link: (http://go.ac.sa/tni ).

    The Union notes that all concerned parties must identify themselves as parties with a connection or interest in the investigation and submit responses to the investigation questionnaires within the time periods specified in the announcement of the commencement of the investigation at the address specified in the announcement in the official bulletin.
