Asharqia Chamber of Commerce extends its warmest regards. We would like to inform you that we have received a letter from the National Waste Management Center (MoWAN) with reference number (45501500) dated (17/4/1445 AH). The letter refers to the Cabinet's decision number (457) dated (11/8/1440 AH) regarding the establishment of the National Waste Management Center, aimed at organizing the waste management sector in the Kingdom, and the Cabinet's decision number (11) dated (2/1/1443 AH) approving the waste management system.
We are pleased to inform you that the National Waste Management Center has launched the Electronic Transport Document System project. The "Transport Document" system is one of the most important regulatory and operational tools used by responsible entities to monitor, track, and collect data related to the movement of waste from its point of production to the processing and safe disposal stage.
In light of the importance of partnership at this stage and achieving mutual success in the goals of transformation in this sector, the Center invites you to attend an introductory workshop on the Electronic Transport Document System on Monday, dated (22/4/1445 AH) corresponding to (6/11/2023 AD) in Dammam city. The workshop aims to introduce the platform and gather feedback from waste producers and service providers, stakeholders, system demonstration, data and information, defining obligations and responsibilities of waste producers. Additionally, the workshop will be followed by a training session shortly after.
