Asharqia Chamber extends its best regards to you, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45508762/25) dated (12/4/1446 AH), which refers to the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (1002) dated (30/3/1446 AH), which includes the approval of the Board of Directors of the Organization in its meetings No. (196) and No. (201) of the following technical regulations:
Technical Regulations for Communications and Information Technology Devices, which will enter into force and application as of (12/2/2025 AD).
Technical Regulations for Equipment and Supplies for Private Use Vehicles, which will enter into force and application on ports and factories as of (19/2/2025 AD), and (23/8/2025), on equipment and supplies currently in service.
The Authority has published the technical regulations in the Official Gazette (Umm Al-Qura) and the Authority’s official website.
