Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (4310464) dated (10/8/1443 AH), in which it is indicated that the union received the letter of the General Authority for Ports No. (1/2/60/22523) and dated 25/9/ 1443 AH), in which reference is made to the circulars and instructions issued by the authority regarding the reception and delivery of containers, where the General Ports Authority would like to note that the authority’s control and inspection team will follow up on compliance with that and confirm the following:
Maritime agents’ commitment to working hours to receive and deliver containers at the warehouse agent’s yard from 7 in the morning until 10 in the evening throughout the week, in addition to official holidays and holidays
Emphasizing the responsibility of the marine agents on behalf of the shipping lines to provide storage yards or contracting with operators of storage yards that give the volume of work without delay, accumulation, or disruption of the logistical operations.
