Respected/ importers of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks
Asharqia Chamber presents you with the best greetings and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (2587) dated 12/10/1439 AH, which referred to the letter of the Ministry of Agriculture No. (42/79731/1439) dated (23/9/1439), on a temporary ban on the importation of live birds, hatching eggs and chicks from the State of Nepal due to the highly pathogenic avian influenza.
It is on the basis of the warning issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) on 18/5/2018, including the emergence of cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the State of Nepal, and in anticipation of the spread of the disease to the Kingdom and to save the public interest.
