Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. 66 / dated 8/1 / 1440H, which referred to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. (1101) dated (7/1/1440) on a temporary ban on the importation of Tilapia from the State of Mexico. It is based on the information contained in the OIE Warning Bulletin dated 27 August 2018 that is including the emergence of Tilapia Lake Virus in Mexico, and based on the Decree of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. 8248/79731/1440 dated 2/1/1440 that issued a temporary ban on the importation of Tilapia from Mexico.
