Gentlemen/Importers of animals of the Equidae family
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings and inform you that the Chamber received a letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (SG / 1328) dated 7/5/1439, referring to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. 24139 dated 5/5/1439 on the temporary ban on the importation of animals The Equidae family of the French state. This action has been taken because of the Warning Bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) on 2/1/2018, which includes the emergence of cases of gastrointestinal anemia in France. Also, because of the decree from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (180/1291/1439) dated (23/4/1439) that imposed a temporary ban on the importation of animals from the Equidae family due to the disease of gastrointestinal anemia on those animals until they are free from the disease.
