Asharqia Chamber presents you with the best greetings and informing you of receiving a letter of the Eastern Province Emirate No. 17070 dated 21/5/1439. It referred to a proposal that made by a citizen to His Royal Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province. The proposal is to urge companies to provide initiatives towards society and the environment through the establishment of large gardens in the desert areas and around the sea in order to contribute to air purification and to support tourism in the region. Saudi Aramco has initiated plans for a number of projects in its efforts to protect the environment. A number of them have been implemented since 2015 and will implement the other projects over the next five years.
Therefore, we call on major companies in the region to follow in the footsteps of Aramco in establishing environmental projects to contribute in air purification and to provide support of tourism in the region.
