Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42103967) dated 10/18/1442, referring to the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (28117/p) and dated (12/10/1442). Reference is made to the Authority’s Circular No. (7152/p) dated (19/2/1441), regarding the mandatory that some foodstuffs imported from the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia be accompanied by a certificate of conformity, and some of them are required to attach a certificate of analysis from the Indian laboratories, as an appendix for the authority’s circular No. (270044/p) and dated (9/24/1442), which states that the list of Indian laboratories published on the authority’s website will be removed from (15/6/2021), and for further clarification in this regard, the authority emphasizes the obligation to attach Certificate of Conformity (COC) Certificate of Compliance issued by conformity companies that have been appointed by the authority, proving compliance with the regulations and standard specifications approved by the authority, especially the technical regulation No. (SFDA.FD 382) regarding the maximum limits of pesticide residues in agricultural and food products for materials and food products of Indian origin:
1. Buffalo and sheep meat
2. Rice
3. Fresh, frozen, and processed vegetables and fruits.
4. Spices and all crops
