Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its warm regards and informs you of receiving a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union numbered (45500751) dated (18/2/1445 AH). This letter references the letter from the Arab Chambers Union numbered (AGCU/451) dated (1/8/2023 CE) concerning the organization of the Arab Food Security Conference and Exhibition 2023 in collaboration with the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services and in partnership with the Arab League, UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office - Bahrain, and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development.
The event is titled "Food Industries and Their Role in Achieving Food Security" and will take place at the Conference Palace in Marrakech, the Kingdom of Morocco, on October 2-3, 2023. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition of food industries and a number of activities and workshops aimed at capacity building for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized companies operating in the field of food industries.
The conference will cover several topics related to food security, including:
The Status of Food Security and the Food Industry Sector in the Arab World.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Sustainable Agricultural and Food Production.
Requirements for Enhancing Intra-Arab Trade in Food Commodities and Products.
