A Korean Commercial Delegation headed by Mr. (Kang Dok-soo), one of the senior executives of the South Korean Company STX. The conference dealt with the most important means of trade and economic cooperation in the eastern region and to benefit from the huge investment opportunities in the Kingdom, particularly in the eastern region during the conference with the Chairman, Mr.Abdulrahman Al Rashid in the Chamber head office on Sunday, 24.1.2010
Al Rashid asked the company representatives to start establishing the projects through the partnership with the local companies in the Eastern region which is considered the main core of the industrial activities in the Kingdom and the Gulf, besides being the hub of Saudi Aramco and petrochemical plants located Jubail industrial city and other industries Dammam Industrial City.
AlRashid pointed out that Eastern Province is in a major expansion through its industrial cities such as the new industrial city, which will have a huge factories of modern industry, and it will include a massive expansion program newly established in the second Jubail Industrial City and the Industrial Minerals City which is being developed widely in Ras Al-Zour, and contains aluminum smelters, metal materials and other existing industries
The Secretary-General, Mr.Adnan Al-Nuaim attended the conference with the former Chief Executive of Saudi Aramco, Mr. Abdullah Al-Jumah.
