The Prince of the Eastern Province will sponsor the Endowment Practices Forum 2024 on Sunday
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince of the Eastern Province, Honorary Chairman of the Chamber's Endowments Committee, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Endowments Committee, will launch the fourth edition of the Endowments Practices Forum next Sunday, November 24, 2024, under the slogan (Family Endowments: Their Roles and Potential for Sustainability and Success). The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for the forum, stressing that his patronage contributes to supporting the activities and initiatives of the Chamber and gives it the required momentum to continue its efforts in organizing forums and gatherings. Al-Rizaiza said that the forum aims to shed light on the mechanisms that drive the development and investment of family endowments, the importance of the family charter and its role in the success of the family endowment, in addition to clarifying the latest regulatory procedures in establishing endowments and the relationship of family companies with endowments. Al-Raziza explained that the forum witnesses the participation of an elite group of businessmen, academics, and experts from specialists and those interested in the field of endowments, as it aims to encourage the endowment sector to be creative and present best practices in relevant topics to advance the endowment sector, and to introduce family endowments and encourage their establishment by mentioning the possibilities of their success and sustainability, and pointing to the most prominent successful family endowments locally and globally.
He also pointed out that the Kingdom is moving into a new era of a prosperous and diversified economy through Vision 2030, which emphasized the role of the private sector in participating in building the social investment market through endowments, noting that the forum comes at the right time, as the construction tools are working in all sectors, by presenting and presenting best practices in launching family endowments, achieving their sustainability, and increasing their contribution to the national economic system. It is worth noting that the endowment is one of the most important fields in economic work and the most spacious and influential within society, which prompted the Asharqia Chamber to pay early attention to this vital sector, and urged businessmen and women to establish it, and work according to many activities to highlight the economic returns of endowments. The endowment sector is witnessing continuous developments through the launch of new initiatives aimed at strengthening endowment management and increasing its effectiveness in serving social solidarity and implementing endowment projects aimed at supporting education and health care, which reflects the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in emphasizing endowment work, and the importance of partnership with the private sector to achieve the desired goals, by organizing awareness activities that address the importance of endowments and their role in sustainable development, as these efforts contribute to enhancing awareness of the importance of endowments to support social and economic projects.
