    The President of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones participates in the 2024 Logistics Integration Forum.

    Several officials and specialists are participating as speakers in the 2024 Logistics Integration Forum organized by the Asharqia Chamber under the patronage and attendance of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Eastern Province, on Monday, April 29, 2024, with the participation and attendance of His Excellency Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, at the Chamber's headquarters.

    Among the forum's agenda, the President of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, Engineer Majed bin Rafid Al-Arqoubi, will speak.

    Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Razeza, Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, stated that the forum attracts officials discussing various topics within the interests of business sectors specialized in logistics, in addition to their opinions on the sector and the most prominent areas of development they see as important in improving transport services in all its forms.

    The forum aims to enhance logistical integration among all relevant entities to enhance supply chain efficiency in the Kingdom. It serves as a platform for experts and professionals in the field to communicate with officials responsible for developing the logistics sector, to review innovations, identify best practices, and solutions in the sector.

    Al-Razeza pointed out that the officials' meeting in the forum could significantly achieve several objectives, including improving and developing the mechanism of work in the sector, enhancing the efficiency and quality of operations, and achieving a competitive advantage for companies. He emphasized that the logistics sector is a vital part of the supply chain, encompassing all activities related to material and goods flow from origin to consumption points.

    He also highlighted the significant development witnessed by the logistics sector in line with Vision 2030, where many entities have automated many procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations management, enhance inventory management systems to achieve a balance between material availability and inventory costs, as well as improving transport and distribution operations through the use of smart routing technologies. He stressed the necessity of continuous improvement culture, training of employees and workers in the sector, and digital transformation as a significant part of corporate culture.

    The forum also includes the participation of investors and experts in the logistics sector, opening the door for exchanging experiences and knowledge about logistics operations, supply chain management, and discussing promising investment opportunities in relevant fields within the logistics sector.
