Asharqia Chamber will organize a workshop on "The most important challenges in the settlement of the logistics sector" on Tuesday 5/2/2019.
A number of specialists in the fields of training and logistics would participate in the workshop.
The Chairman of the Logistics Committee in Asharqia Chamber and a member of the Board of Directors, Bandar bin Rafi al-Jabri, said that this event and other coming events are in line with the Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of full attention to the dependence on the national component in many activities, including various logistics activities, in terms of the serious endeavor to activate the role of the Kingdom by virtue of its geographical location between the three ancient continents (Asia, Africa, Europe) and to be a logistical support area serves the economic trends and the development of trade exchange between the three continents, especially as the Kingdom's position helps them at this level.
The workshop, which will be held at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam, will address a number of themes such as how to localize the logistics sector, training and qualification mechanisms to work in the logistics sector, and ways to limit the needs of the labor market.
Through this workshop, the Committee looks forward to raising the Saudization rates in the logistics field.
