The Director of Water Services Branch in Khafji Governorate, Eng. Faisal bin Awad Al-Rashidi, announced the direction to ensure the abundance of water conservation through the implementation of quality plans during the coming period, on Tuesday's monthly meeting, which was held on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the Chamber’s branch in Khafji.
The meeting was directed by the deputy chairman of the business council in Khafji branch, Mohammed bin Fawaz al-Subaie, with the presence of a number of businessmen.
During the meeting, Al-Rashidi said that the province will witness the implementation of strategic water storage plan through the establishment of two ground tanks with a capacity of 15 thousand cubic meters to ensure water availability in Khafji.
He pointed out that this is supportive of the methods of rationalization of water and stressed similar awareness plans targeting commercial sectors linked to water services such as hotels, furnished apartments, car washrooms and laundries.
The meeting also discussed the prices of the segments consumed by the commercial sector and the most important challenges facing the business sector in the governorate.
A number of initiatives were presented that aimed at developing the business environment were put forward with the participation of the government sector in Khafji.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Business Council Khafji Branch Mohammed bin Fawaz Al-Subaie, honored the Director of Water Services Branch in Khafji Governorate Eng. Faisal Bin Awad Al Rashidi with a commemorative plaque.
