Eng. Ali Al Naimi the consultant in the Royal divan, the former

Expressing
his optimism about the Kingdom future economy, pointing that it is one of the
most powerful 20 economies in the world, and has an ambitious new vision for a
better future for generations to come, saying: (The diversification of our
economy, is of the most important elements of sustainability and despite the
fact that oil and gas represent a fundamental pillar of our economy, but the Kingdom
began the expansion to invest in
additional sectors such as mining).
Al
Naimi was a guest in the first episodes of
Tajribati program in Asharqia Chamber for 2017 on Tuesday, January 24,
and the His Excellency Sheikh Muhammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Energy in the
Kingdom of Bahrain, and Al Nadhmi Al Nasir, Executive vicar of King Abdullah
University of Science and Technology, and businessman Suleiman Al
Suhaimi, who narrated
personal and practical experiences that
brought them together with Al Naimi, as well as the
presence of a big number of men and women working in the Eastern Region and the
young businessmen and women.
Al
Naimi said a brief narration of his experience that is rich with exceptional events and events, since he was a Bedouin
childe that did not know the shoes, and when he got shoes in the beginning of his joining the school he carried it to
preserve it from damage, Al Naimi told how
he moved from a traveler and a shepherd searching water and food to a decision maker in terms of

Al
Naimi said I still remember how the chance and hardship led me and I'm twelve,
to a work as a reporter in that new American Company (Aramco), and to study in
Beirut and get the scholarship from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, and then
I studied the master at Stanford University and then returnd to Saudi and then gradually
worked in the tasks and positions and of
a several and many challenges until I become the chief
executive of the biggest oil company in the world.
About
sports he said I practice sports and mountaineering that allowed me a lot of
ending major oil agreements with executives of major companies in both South
Korea and America, I was practicing with them the same sport, and this was
pushing me to enhance my mental abilities in the face of challenges and
difficulties.
Al
Naimi added that when he was accompanist for his brother in his tours as a
reporter was then continued his education there, speaking about his wish at
that early age, which is permitted by the school when asked about his wish when
he grows up, saying: (I want to become the head of Aramco), but it happened
that his brother Abdullah died at the age of seventeen years old with
pneumonia, causing him to carry bigger responsibilities than his age can
handle, pointing to the invitation he received by one of the staff in Aramco to
work his brother's place, then he officially became an employee in the company.
Al
Naimi said that among the influential events in his life, that he was expelled
from Saudi Aramco, after nine months of employment without the guilt, after the
government issued new regulations not to allow Aramco of the employment of
those under the age of eighteen, referring to his transfer later between the
three jobs with Saudi contractors in
the construction field, pointing to his experience of Aramco and moving between
jobs in the field of contracting and then expulsion of them one after the other
to return to Aramco, again, which had a great impact on his life that he realized
his soul and that he was a clever, fast adapting
and that whenever he depended on himself and the respect of people increased
towards him.
Al Naimi stressed the importance of human
resource development as the top money, advising the youth initiative and seek a
livelihood and not to wait.
For
his part, the head of the Council of the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, Abdul Rahman bin
Saleh Al Ataishan, said he was pleased, to initiate of Asharqia Chamber in the new year of 2017,
hosting His Excellency Eng. Ali Al Naimi, that holds the experience and
expertise, and is a role model in his
service, responsibility and the ability to overcome obstacles to reach goals, stressing
the desire of Asharqia Chamber represented
by the young Businessmen Council to hold Tajribati program on a regular basis
each year, the belief in the importance of presentation of successful
experiences and documented for reference contributes to educate and refine the
knowledge of young men and women.
Al
Ataishan said, that the Chamber is proud
to host the self made man, struggled so much to pair his work and study skills,
moving night and day schools, was an example of discipline and concern in business.
He
added that Al Naimi has a journey full of details of several events in his country
service, since joining the work in Aramco in 1947, gradually in positions to
become the first Saudi manager between 1983 and 1995

manager for the biggest oil company in the world and
the Minister of Petroleum, saying that he is the father and educator and role
models and the minister we are proud of, saying that his experience as an
inspiration for the youth, hopes and aspirations led by the desire to achieve
the aspirations of the wise leadership to be the basis of the ambitious vision
of the Kingdom of 2030.
At
the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber,
Abdul RahmanAl Ataishan, and the head of Young Businessmen Council, Musaad bin
Zamel presented a memorial gift to his
excellency Eng. Al Naimi.
