The extended meeting of the agricultural, fish and animal
resources sector held in Asharqia Chamber on Sunday evening, May 14, 2017
highlighted how distinguished the Eastern Region is with ideal farms of a distinctive
production and contributes to meet the needs of the people of the region.
The
meeting, which was attended by the Director of the General Department in the
Eastern Region, Eng. Tariq Al Melhim and the Director of the Agricultural, Fish
and Animal Resources Committee in Asharqia Chamber, Muhammed Al Dail, said that
the region has great potential both the farms and investors, pointing to many
challenges that the sector is facing as a result of ideas and initiatives by
farmers and investors and presented solutions to the most prominent challenges.
Al
Melhim said that a number of meetings between the branch and farmers, contributed
greatly to the achievement of great achievements and arrange the house from the
inside, stressing that this reflected positively on the ground and provided a remarkable
example in the regions of the Kingdom.
Regarding
the most important challenges facing the sector, the needs of the region of
medical vaccines, Al Mulhem said that the official clinics of the sector have
the necessary vaccines, explaining that the number of clinics is very suitable
for the needs of the region with the possibility of improving this in the
future, stressing that the branch is pursuing pharmacies and veterinary clinics
violated, due to the lack of veterinary knowledge and
experience in dealing with various pathological symptoms.

Dail said that the aim of the extended meeting is to discuss the challenges
facing this sector in the presence of investors and to encourage hopes,
aspirations and initiatives that will improve the mechanism of work and its
products.
Al
Dail stressed the importance of the agricultural, fish and animal resources sector,
pointing that it has a great official support and interest by the Municipality
of the region and municipalities. He said that coordination is continuing
between the authorities to achieve initiatives that best achieve the sector in
the region.
