Ataishan: we are looking for the best and we hope to achieve the

Eastern Chamber made great steps in the care of small enterprises and business
women
Number of subscribers East chamber raised up by the end of the financial
year 2015 to reach (77.666) subscribers, and that coincided with the expansion
of chamber works to serve its subscribers in the cities and provinces c amd
enters Area where the number of centers and branches reached (17) branch
centers, covering all the eastern region areas.
Mentioned that the Chairman of the Board of East Chamber of Abdulrahman bin
Saleh Ataishan, who was speaking infront of the General Assembly of the chamber
meeting and held on Tuesday evening (April 5, 2016) in the presence of a number
of members of the Board of Directors and a number of subscribers of the chamber.
during his speech Ataishan turned to the achievements made in the chamber
during the past year, which he attributed it to the cooperation between
the Board of Directors of the Chamber and its General Secretariat and executive
system and all Chamber sectors to plan the Chamber work, in the service of
the subscribers of business men and women, and the development of the business
environment in the region, raising the performance of the national economy.
Ataishan presented his thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin
Abdulaziz, prince of the Eastern Region, for what the Chamber and
the business sector receives of support and guidance and , also he praised the
government departments and agencies which have continued with the Chamber in
different occasions, and interacted with them in what they organize of events,
and cooperated with them in responding to what it offers as
recommendations and suggestions, so it was a help for the sector to
achieve many of its programs, and supportive to its mission and
goals, the Chairman has evaluated the role of the Chamber subscribers
interacting with what the Chamber offers of initiatives and projects, praising
the roles made by the Secretariat of the Chamber and the executive
secretariat and all employees of the Chamber of male and female employees who
stood to make Chamber message and are seeking its strategic goals.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al
Wabel reviewed the report of achievements and services that has
been done over the past year and said that the Chamber had in 2015 to
prepare more than 50 study and research and economic reports, and a specialized
working paper, and more than 30 economic report on trade relations between the
Kingdom and a number of countries, and more than 5 visions for various economic
topics.
In terms of legal consulting services the Chamber has offered during the
2015 Consultations for(744) beneficiaries, of which (360) telephone
consultation, and (384) a Consultations of personal presence, and Chamber
stood in front of(60) issue of protesting and were settled (1)
cause of them, and reviewed (9) business cases and has settled (1), and
including also ended the room five cases out of seven arbitration cases.
As for the East Chamber of the Employment Center Services ,Al Wabel
pointed that the Chamber represented by the East Chamber for employment
has set up (6) employment meetings, in cooper oration with a number of
facilities, and the number of job seekers participating in these meetings
has reached about (7.705) work seekers, and the number of beneficiary of
employment enterprises Center services has reached about (2021), as
about (10085) job opportunities have been provided .
According to Al Wabel the Chamber has offered 471 consultations
over the past year for small and medium enterprises, varied between financial,
administrative and marketing, technical consulting, and many of the programs,
lectures and training courses that support small and medium enterprises in the
Eastern Region sector development, such as the organization of (how to start a
small business, decimal partnership cycle, lectures of managing cash of small
projects in branches of the Chamber in the provinces of Al
Khafji, Jubail, Qatif) program .
As for the services the East Chamber of the training center, Al Wabel noted
that the Chamber represented by the training center, the number of trainers in
the center has reached(682) trainees, during 2015, as the number of
training days has reached last year about 329 training days for 41 training
activities, also the number of tests, which has been done the past year
has reached about 3.488 test.
As for supporting women's economic activity, Al Wabel about the
Chamber of Businesswomen Center during 2015 offering more than 348
information services in the field s of economy, small and medium
enterprises and in the feasibility studies, in addition to organizing
(39) specialized workshop, and the number of beneficiaries of lectures 729
lady, and the number of beneficiaries of workshops 154 lady and the
number of beneficiaries of seminars 15.504 lady.
Regarding the international relations and foreign delegations East
Chamber has witnessed over the past year the organization of more than 33
meeting and visit to businessmen and women in the region with the coming
trade delegations of various countries of the world in 2013, and there have
been businessmen engaged in the mutual business councils (foreign - Arab
).
In terms of partnerships and cooperation with government agencies, private and
international institutions the Chamber has set up partnerships with the many
agencies and local and international institutions for the development of the
eastern region and its community business.
In terms of social responsibility Al Wabel said that the Chamber
has a distinctive balance in this regard the most prominent maybe that the
total business contributions to the Committee of Friends of the patients has
reached during the last year more than five million riyals, as well as the
contribution of the Chamber through the events fund and organizing
the people of the region for the occasion of Eid al Fitr and participating in
the National day celebrations and their interaction and support of many
institutions, associations and nonprofit that are directed to community
service .
This was followed by the members of the General Assembly reviewing the report
of the legal accountant of Ernst & Young company, and then followed
by the start of deliberations, discussions and the conclusion of the Assembly.
