In a lecture in the
branch of Asharqia Chamber in Jubail.
The
head of the Finance Project Unit in the Social Development Bank, Khalid Ahmed
Al Ghamdi, said that the bank pays special attention to small and medium
institutions, in several different channels, depending on the activity and the
beneficiary group.
Al
Ghamdi said in a lecture organized by Asharqia Chamber, represented by the
Center for the Development of Small and Medium institutions, on Sunday 14 May
2017 titled "Opportunities for financing small and medium institutions in the
Bank of Social Development", the Chamber branch in Al Jubail since its
establishment has supported 31321
projects worth more than 4.6 billion riyals divided into several sectors.
During
the lecture, which was conducted by the Chairman of the Business Council,
Mashari bin Murshed Al Aqili, stated a general overview of the bank services
and the definition of financing programs and services provided by the bank to
small and medium institutions.
He
pointed that the supporting process takes several channels, including the projects in the Social Development Bank not
exceeding 300 thousand riyals, recently, the telecommunications sector was
included in the bank program.
He
pointed that the bank offers non financial care programs to spread the culture
of self employment and also provides coordination and network support and
advisory services, stressing that the bank is one of the first government
agencies that support business pioneering in the Kingdom and provides services
in 27 branches of men and 7 branches for women.
