In the extended meeting of the training sector.
The
extended Training Sector Meeting organized by Asharqia Chamber Training
Committee on Monday (May 1, 2017) recommended finding specialized bodies to
analyze and evaluate the nature of jobs required to fill the gap between
training programs and the actual need for the labor market.
The
Chairman of the training committee in Chamber, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Rabiah said
that the training sector at present needs to be improved in all respects, so
that this will be reflected positively to the owner of the service and the
beneficiary.
In
the first atopic, Vicar of the Committee Saeed Al Hababi said that there is a
big gap between the training programs presented In
the labor market and the actual needs, there is no correlation between the
skills offered and the basic need of institutions, which requires a total analysis
of the labor market.
Al
Hababi added that the aim of the training is mostly to fill the shortage of
skills, reducing costs and increasing employees moral spirit. Therefore,
training does not begin before the required training needs are identified,
starting with a number of methods: job analysis, organizational analysis, labor
market recently, earlier the factory needed a strong man, but at the present it
requires additional skills other than physical power.
In
this regard, the participants agreed on the need to enhance the link between
companies and training institutes to identify the needs and then putting the
right individual in the right place, stressing that the training should be
professionally accordance with training or academic education, training begins
with the individual from the early years of an individual educational life.
The
second topic (keeping up with the regulations of the General Organization for professional
and Technical Education with electronic platforms), member of the Committee
Abdul Ghani Al Rumaih said that the electronic platforms are accessible to all,
and through which many people get certificates and qualifications of science,
we need to update our systems and follow the developments in the international platforms.
The third topic (the importance of the development of private
training institutes), member of the committee Muhammed Al Jahouri stressed the
need to improve training curricula, raise the level of trainees, and improve training
methods and equipment, as well as finding a mechanism to classify institutes
and training centers. In
addition to the need to include training courses in the field work.
