The Training and Education Committee looking for suggestions to support the sector​

The Training and Education Committee of the Eastern Province Chamber held a remote meeting on Tuesday, 14 April 2020, to discuss the impact of the new Coronavirus​ outbreak on the private education and training sector.​

The Committee Chairman Khaled Al-Jwaira said: The meeting reviewed a number of points, the most prominent of which is how to exit from this crisis by planning the current stage and the beginning of next year, as well as excluding private education and training from social insurance programs to support the affected enterprises.​

Al-Jwaira​ added: We also discussed how to cover the delay of parents in paying tuition fees, the impact of this on the payment of salaries, how to maintain job cadres, and the mechanism for benefiting from the items mentioned in Article 41 of the executive regulations of the labor system added by the Minister of Labor decision dated 8/13/ 1441 AH, to achieve the common interest of all parties to the educational process.
