His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, sponsors the Sports Pioneers Forum under the slogan "Sports is an Investment in the Future", which is organized by the Asharqia Chamber represented by the Youth Business Council virtually on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, appreciated His Highness’s sponsorship of the forum, stressing that the sponsorship represents a strong supporter of the Chamber’s events and activities, noting that His Highness’s sponsorship of the forum reflects the extent of the great interest that sports investment enjoys in the eastern region.
Al-Khalidi said that sports are the language of all ages, as the past years have witnessed great attention by the business sector and investors to invest in the sports sector, where investment has gone to a greater stage to provide a distinct model of sports centers and academies, and it has become a landmark in the eastern region in particular. And the Kingdom in general, until it became a positive competition in introducing new developments in the world of investment in the sports sector.
Al-Khalidi pointed out that in light of the wise leadership's interest in the Kingdom's Vision 2030 program, from which the Quality of Life program emerges, as it includes many plans that seek to raise the average quality of life in various aspects, the most prominent of which is sports, and this gives the business sector an indication that the future will be for this investment because of its Among the positive results on the local community, the most prominent of which is the reduction in the rates of diseases and deaths and attention to public health as a basic factor, indicating that recreational spaces such as gardens and parks have recently been provided with sports equipment to raise the average quality of life for the citizen and resident, and it has become a constant factor when completing any recreational project that includes a space for practicing the various sports and this also gives us another indication of the upcoming new economic feature.
For this part, the Chairman of the Business Youth Council, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Faraj, indicated that in light of the technological revolution that has overwhelmed the world, this investment has also been accompanied by another investment in technology that benefits and benefits this sector, beginning with the emergence of programs and training sessions for sports that are held remotely and ending with a new revolution called In virtual clubs, this is the investment of the future, as several sectors work in one project.
Al-Faraj explained that the year 2021 witnessed the opening of several sports investments, either, which are indications of an upcoming new investment that will return remunerative returns to workers in this sector, and said that investment in the sports sector will raise the standards of services provided by the sector and that competition in this field will raise the mechanism of work in it. Al-Faraj stated that sports investment is one of the goals of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, which is based on creating the necessary environment to support and develop new options that enhance the quality of life program with the participation of entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises to invest in this emerging sector.
