The Prince of the Eastern Province sponsors on Wednesday the Sports Pioneers Forum
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, The Prince of the Eastern Province, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, sponsors the Sports Pioneers Forum organized by the Asharqia Chamber represented by the Young Businessmen Council virtually under the slogan "Sports is an investment for the future."
The forum aims to exchange distinguished expertise and experiences and to promote the culture of self-employment, as witnesses the participation of the Ministry of Sports, Adwaa Al-Arifi, and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, appreciated His Highness’s patronage of the forum, stressing that the sponsorship represents a strong supporter for the Chamber’s events and activities, noting that His Highness’s sponsorship of the forum reflects the great interest that sports investment enjoys in the eastern region.
Al-Khalidi said that the forum aims to exchange distinguished expertise and experiences and promote the culture of self-employment, pointing to the Kingdom, through its ambitious vision, to support medium and small enterprises by supporting entrepreneurship, privatization programs, and sports investment, which will allow our economy to provide opportunities for everyone to contribute to the best of their capabilities. He said that we must improve the investment of youth energies by directing them towards sports investment and enabling them to obtain appropriate opportunities to build the future and contribute to the development of our society and our economy.
Al-Khalidi pointed out that in light of the wise leadership's interest in the Kingdom's Vision 2030 program, from which the Quality of Life program emerges, as it includes many plans that seek to raise the average quality of life in various aspects, most notably sports, and this gives the business sector an indication that the future will be for this investment because of its Of positive results for the local community.
The Chairman of the Business Youth Council, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Farraj, said that the forum aims to support business youth and provide them with the opportunity to present their work in addition to spreading successful experiences in this field, as well as knowing the needs of employers and transferring them to the relevant authorities, and providing opportunities for cooperation, integration, and partnerships between employers And based on its vision of the forum, which emphasizes achieving integration in the sports investment sector for medium and small enterprises to contribute to achieving the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
Al-Faraj stated that sports investment is one of the goals of the vision based on creating the necessary environment to support and develop new options that enhance the quality of life program with the participation of entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises to invest in this emerging sector.
The scientific program of the forum includes 4 sessions, where the opening session will start at 10:30 a.m. under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, and the Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Eng. Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, and Chairman of the Young Businessmen Council Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Farraj.
In the main dialogue session held at 11 a.m. entitled: The Kingdom’s Approaches to Supporting Sports Sectors in Light of Vision 2030, Issam Al-Dhakir, Deputy Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority for Entrepreneurship, and the Undersecretary for Development and Planning at the Ministry of Sports, Adwaa Al-Arifi, will also lead the session’s dialogues by a member of the Business Youth Council Turki Al-Rajhi.
The second dialogue session reflects the successful experiences in the sector, where the session will be held under the title: Successful Experiences in Sports Investment at 12:30 PM, in which the CEO of the Saudi Media Company, Muhammad Al-Khuraiji, and the General Manager of the Fitness World Company Ahmed Bukhamseen, as well as the CrossFit Trainer Amal Baatia, will speak. Faris Abu Ali, CEO of Offside Company, is also moderated by a member of the Business Youth Council, Waad Abu Nyan.
