The Prince of Eastern Province sponsors the Women’s Economic Forum 2020 next November
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Business Women Center, organizes the activities of the sixth edition of the Women’s Economic Forum 2020 under the title “Empowerment and Ambition” under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, where preparations are underway for organizing the event, which will be held via visual communication technology on Wednesday 25 November 2020.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province, stressing that it represents the great support for the initiatives of the women’s business sector in the region, pointing to His Highness’s keenness to support the Chamber’s programs and activities directed to this sector.
Al-Khalidi explained that the forum comes at a time when women continued to record successes in the field of work, following the confidence and support they found from the wise leadership, which contributed to increasing their participation in national development.
For her part, a member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber Al-Anoud bint Tawfiq Al-Ramah said that the Asharqia Chamber sought, through the establishment of the Business Women Center, to be a framework through which the Chamber works to solve and remove the various obstacles facing the economic projects of businesswomen, and for the center to be a tool in mobilizing and mobilizing the efforts of businesswomen. By activating the center’s role in organizing economic forums, this process will be strengthened in order to contribute to developing the region’s economies, rising rates of economic growth, and achieving more developmental gains.
Al-Rammah indicated that the forum is through officials, specialists and specialists, prominent axes, the most important of which are: the rational leadership's appreciation of the importance and role of women economically and socially and plans to empower them, women in leadership positions and boards of directors, and the Quality of Life Program 2020 and its economic effects on women.
For her part, a member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Nouf Bint Abdulaziz Al-Turki, said that the forum was held over a period of five years, during which it discussed the most important issues that directly or indirectly affect women's economic empowerment, as it discussed in its previous version the support and financing of small and medium enterprises, and women's partnership in Development being a national and social necessity, and its economic empowerment, whether in family businesses or through organizations and associations of businesswomen, in addition to discussing the most important legislative and social obstacles, and today in its sixth edition we seek to discuss the honorable leadership’s appreciation of the importance of women’s economic and social role and plans to empower them by strengthening their presence in centers Leadership and decision-making centers also enhance their presence in the various investment sectors that achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 programs and enrich the national economy.
