             Most of the world today is subjected to constant attacks by hackers, but what happens to the Kingdom can not be called attacks by the hackers, it is an electronic war against it, where the figures indicate that the Kingdom was exposed to 54 thousand attacks in a year, ranked third in the world in terms of exposure to cyber attacks, that is, it is exposed daily to about 150 attacks electronically, an average of 6.25 attacks per hour.
    The magazine issued by Asharqia Chamber in its November edition, discussed these attacks and confirmed that there is an electronic war being waged against the Kingdom, because its economy is one of the strongest economies in the Middle East and it is one of the 20 most powerful economies in the world. Saudi Arabia is the target of cyber attacks by hackers, threatening its investments and its growth and expansion opportunities locally and regionally. This war against Saudi institutions, companies and government entities, aimed at disrupting its work, and the seizure of its data.
    The economy stressed that, despite the success of the information security agencies in the face of this war and acts of piracy, but the issue deserves discussion, and requires full attention and vigilance. According to the 2030 vision, the Saudi government is supporting the IT sector, promoting creative thinking for companies, protecting their data and electronic systems, and motivating young people to turn their ideas into activities and activities that contribute to development efforts. The Kingdom has great opportunities in Internet applications, which will be reflected in the development of the Kingdom's future investments.
    The magazine stressed this war against the Kingdom with reports from international companies specialized in information security. According to a report by Arbor Networks, the kingdom has been hit by 54,000 cyber attacks in all its public and private facilities from outside parties in the past 12 months, ranking third in the world in cyber attacks per year.
    The Kaspersky Foundation revealed that about 60% of the institutions and companies in the Kingdom have been targeted by viruses and malware attacks over the past 12 months, stressing the importance of development to deal with the threats faced by these institutions, pointing that these attacks require awareness and full knowledge of the institutions and companies in the Kingdom.
    Palo Alto Networks revealed that most cyber attacks start stealing users' access data through various fraud methods. These attacks range from those targeted to individual users usually seeking bank statements, and those that target companies that focus on acquiring access data The confidentiality required to access the systems of the target companies and their databases in order to tamper with them and ask for ransom.
