    The meeting of the General Secretariat of the tax committees reviewed the definition of them and the most prominent rules for the work of the committees for the settlement of tax violations and disputes, the conditions for regular representation before the tax committee departments, procedures for handling cases and facilitating procedures while touching on the issue of remote litigation and visual communication, which is one of the most prominent new procedures that Implemented by the General Secretariat.​

    The meeting, which was held on Wednesday morning (03 / June / 2020) at a distance, witnessed the participation of the Head of the Value Added Tax and Selective Goods Department in the Appeals Studies Department at the General Secretariat, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al Qassoumi, and the Head of the Zakat and Income Tax Department in the Appeals Studies Department Manal Bint Khalid Al Buhairi The meeting discussions were moderated by the Chairman of the Lawyers and Legal Advisers Committee at the Asharqia Chamber, Attorney Khaled Al-Saleh.​

    Manal Al-Behairi reviewed the decision to form tax committees and establish the general secretariat of the committees, and its main role in managing tax disputes and seeking to solve them efficiently and transparently, and mentioned the most important services provided by the secretariat, facilitating tax cases procedures and educating customers about the provisions related to regulations and regulations and the mechanism for filing a lawsuit through a number of guidelines. , Awareness, Customer Services Directory, and Customer Charter. It was also discussed that there are indicators for measuring performance, governance, quality management, and risk measurement.

    For this part, Fahd Al-Qassoumi touched on the systematic formation of tax committees, and the most prominent rules for the work of the committees for the settlement of tax violations and disputes that are based on them during the settlement of disputes, in a way that contributes to achieving the completed separation, explaining the most prominent aspects in the systemic representation. He also pointed out that the Secretariat has a number of initiatives and projects, including some operational and development projects such as the business development program and the artificial intelligence program, the project of remote litigation, the project to classify and extract tax principles from previous decisions and provisions, the guide project to tax systems and launch an application to manage talent and raise efficiency Operational, as it seeks through multiple communication channels to enable effective communication with customers and business partners through a series of programs and introductory tools.
