The Contracting Committee at Asharqia Chamber, which is under the chairmanship of the Board Member Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Hammad, held its third meeting of the current year, which reviewed a number of activities and events that it intends to implement in the coming months at the headquarter of the Chamber on Tuesday 26 March 2019.
The Committee's activities include a visit with a number of departments related to the sector as well as holding seminars and workshops to discuss its challenges and ways of addressing them.
On the other hand, the Committee hosted the Director of Tamkeen Program in Dammam, Adel Al Qattan, where he provided an introduction of the program, which was implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, its achievements and objectives, and ways of cooperation between the institution and the contracting sector.
Al Qattan explained during the meeting that one of the most important objectives of the program is to help the beneficiaries who are able to work to turn them into producers and financially independent through training and their integration into the labor market.
The members of the Committee expressed their readiness to cooperate with Tamkeen to train the beneficiaries and integrate them into society through the available means.
