On Sunday 27 January 2019, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Businesswomen's Center, participated in the events of the Achievements of Saudi Women that held in the 1st Secondary School in Khobar.
The Director of the Businesswomen Center in charge, Hanan Bint Saleh Al-Wabel, presented a lecture in which she reviewed the orientations of the Kingdom in promoting the empowerment of women in managerial and leadership positions.
She pointed out that the wise leadership provided opportunities for women to benefit from their great potential in all fields of work, as they registered an increase in their participation rate from 22% to 30%.
Al-Wabel said that women have scored excellence and success in different fields.
She pointed out that it has entered new sectors either as a worker or investor in the sectors of oil, tourism and aviation in addition to the industrial sector in various specialties.
Al-Wabel said during the lecture that Saudi women have the great potential and skills that enable them to work in any specialty.
She noted that the opportunity has now been available to prove that it is an important partner in the field and has achieved many achievements and successes.
