program
General
Manager of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Eastern Province
branch, Saed bin Ahmed al Ghamdi, in the teleworking Forum hosted by Asharqia Chamber Sunday, November 6, said that the program is a
national initiative that seeks to create a local business environment and keep
pace with the progress in the global labor market, noting that
the program offers options with
less costs for business owners also creating job opportunities for job seekers
in all segments, pointing to the program achieved advantages for both the employer
regarding of quality and reducing costs as well as the
use of national energies regardless of where is it available, or researchers for
work, in terms of flexibility in choosing where and when to work and to provide
appropriate work environment for them.
Ghamdi during the meeting which was
attended by Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel pointed that the remote business strategy is linked to vision 2030 and the targets of national
transformation, explaining that the program is to create new jobs in various
sectors and offers programs for workers remotely with the work requirements and
creates jobs fitting the needs of researchers
from various categories, especially women and people with disabilities.
Ghamdi pointed in the meeting which was attended by

Al
Ghamdi, in the forum, which accompanied an exhibition on the services provided
to the positive effects of the program in reducing unemployment and achieving
geographical balance and easing traffic crowd and environment protection,
noting that the program plan is to work from home or from the business centers.
Al Ghamdi, said that the program contributes to increase the rates of Saudization in various sectors of the
market, and that there are many sectors targeted by the program and offers promising opportunities.
Director
General of Employment and Human Resources Fund, Ahmed Almejesh, stressed that
the program features support equally male and female, pointing that the Fund
provides a total support for the program to contribute to speeding up the
process of speeding the including of bigger number of researchers and job seekers,
pointing that the program puts
priority in its agenda to increase the localization of jobs in the private
sector, it aims to enhance the principle of production and expanding
opportunities for business owners to use the varied skills.
For
his part, the head of the Human Resources Committee of Asharqia Chamber, Dr.
Saleh bin Ali Al Humaidan, considered the program
(teleworking) is of the most important programs launched by the government in
order to strengthen the localization of jobs, being a contributing via the
electronic cycle to increase employment opportunities for young men and women who
are facing difficulties in employment, especially for women and persons with
disabilities, as it contributes to increase the productivity of companies saving
effort and costs. Humaidan, stressed that if the program
(teleworking) is a product of the technical progress of the Kingdom, it takes
technically a new path towards the provision of formal jobs in the private
sector without requiring actual presence in the institution, so it is next to
the, so besides the advantages for researchers and job seekers, also provides
several advantages for companies in increasing their competitiveness and
reducing the operational costs of the institution and other costs linked to them.
Al
Humaidan said that the importance of this event is providing a comprehensive definition
of (telework), hoping that the company
owners, managers and researchers benefit from the program, appreciating the
great efforts by the government represented by the Ministry of Labor and
Social Development, for the settlement of jobs and motivating the private
sector to be an active partner with the presented
programs.
By his part, Deputy General Manager of Takamul Holding Services
business, Mohammed Al Qarni, presented a brief presentation on the definition
of the program, perceptions vision, and mission, saying the program was
launched in March this year, the opening of five centers for telework in a
number of areas like Qasaim, Hail and others, and plans to launch six centers
each year, and was able to employ about 3,000 people in a number of companies, pointing
that the program aims by 2020 to employ 140 thousand male and female workers.
Al Qarni explained that the program (includes several
paths), such as telework centers, which is a service centers to practice the required
work, and is registers employees to electronic remote working gate, working
from home and that contains all the work that can be done from home or service or
the institution or work providers, and the
registration of workers is observed in
home scope through teleworking gate.
Al Qarni presented the two ways of registration in teleworking electronic one with
the national employment gate for businessmen on the one hand and job seekers on
the other hand, saying that the employer can visit the site and list the
required joss and then the seeker can find and choose the proper job and obtain
it and when choosing the right person he is signs the contract and will be registred
in the social security system as a teleworker.
