Asharqia Chamber receives a British delegation yesterday
Al Wabel looking for strengthening the Saudi-British cooperation in areas of education and construction
Asharqia Chamber Acting Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel looking for ways and means to strengthen the cooperation in the areas of education and construction, during his meeting with the Director of British Trade Office in the region, David Harris, referring to what the region witnessing from activities of huge construction in Second Jubail Industrial City and Ras Al-Zour, in the Chamber headquarter in Dammam.
Al Wabel throughout his meeting on yesterday Tuesday, January 25, 2011 with the British delegation representing 14 companies specialized in education and building smart homes and real estate in cooperation with the British Trade Office ;indicating that the country has allocated a huge budget to the education sector by 150 billion SR including the development and construction of educational institutions and workforce development in this area for the current year 2011.
For his part, said Dominic James, Head of delegation, that the British delegation received an overwhelming response by traders in the region, saying: "We are here to for partnerships with potential local partners so as cooperation and partnership in many of the works in support of the Kingdom's strategy in the education sector.
