How to be a successful entrepreneur? That is the title of the lecture organized by the Eastern Chamber represented by the Center for Small and Medium Enterprises Development on the evening of (Wednesday, January 22/2020) at the Chamber's branch headquarters in Qatif Governorate, amid a distinguished presence of pioneers and entrepreneurs, and the lecture turned into a dialogue session on the term "entrepreneurship", The meaning of this word, its effects, results, and ingredients.
The lecturer and entrepreneur Muhammad Kahl raised a number of questions, which were discussed around, including that he said: How do we transform our projects into pilot projects? That is, how the projects become distinctive, continuing to succeed, based on that leadership is making the project beneficial to all, and away from repetition .. Adding that the problem in some projects is it is repeated, and it is strange that some projects operate in densely populated areas such as Dammam, Khobar, and Qatif and then fail, which means that the bug in the project itself.
He emphasized that achieving leadership starts from investing in people, and then switching from a traditional "repeating" project to a distinct project, and this comes only from some additions to the projects, if any cafe was converted to a study and study site, or kindergarten turned into a site for healthy food and healthy behavior, then the project is pioneering, for leadership is creativity, excellence and avoiding repetition.
The dialogue then moved on to the issue that entrepreneurial ideas exist, but implementation does not begin, and if it starts does not take place properly, and the lecturer confirmed - and with the support of the attendees - that there is a need for pioneering projects in place, and what is required is investment and starting projects, and until this is done on us Strengthening societal partnerships. Noting the importance of increasing the number of joint-stock companies in the eastern region, it is a better option than individual projects, because partnership means sharing profits and losses alike, so the damages are less.
Accordingly, the lecturer explained that there are basic rules for success, which should be directed to them, including proper marketing, and taking advantage of the high incidence of demand for goods, noting that the entrepreneur aspiring to success should enjoy self-confidence, not fear of failure, and take responsibility with patience and skin .. pointing To the most prominent characteristics of entrepreneurs is to prepare for challenges, commitment and flexibility, because it has a clear plan, and its decisions are also clear, as well as having the ability to manage time.
In the field, he mentioned that the foundations of success in entrepreneurship depend on the ability to manage individuals, rely on them and delegate them, and attract distinct elements even if they are more distinct than the owner of the project considering that entrepreneurship is an opportunity to contribute to community service and encourage salt manufacturing and create more products and services and support economic growth.
