Several tips for job interviews
Manager of Human Resources Company in Al-Zamil Industrial Company, Mr. Wael Al-Bassam presented several important advises and guidelines for the skills to pass the interview during the lecture organized by the Eastern Chamber represented by the employment center on Monday 19th July, 2010 under the title (Skills of job search ) at the Chamber headquarter in Dammam.
Al-Bassam explained during the lecture some important tips on the commitments that must abide by the job-seeker when preparing his CV by using short phrases and consider the truth and to avoid exaggeration and spelling mistakes and typos ,also using accurate information which provides an opportunity for the officials to read the CV in a short time no more than 30 seconds and without any interference, in addition to the need to focus on relevant aspects of the job and uploading a photo of the applicant.
Moreover; Al-Bassam explained that the applicant must be optimistic and gives himself the opportunity to train in any facility to have an idea of the work environment and its mechanism which configure the good relations and also get the experience which may benefit him elsewhere.
Also requiring the applicant to stick decency and tact when receiving an invitation of interview by phone and well coordinate to the interview appointment ,also he must be trained to answer common questions that may be asked when to speak for himself and a company that offers to work ,also focusing on the weaknesses and its strengths and the achievements experience.
Al-Bassam has referred also to the basics behavior when being interviewed to keep silent and not answer questions until been asked and not to interrupt during the talk and calm before the answer, answers must be brief and considering the eye contact which reflects the strength of the applicant character and not ask for the salary and holidays and weaknesses.
Also reviewed the work ethic and commitment such as team work and respect the manager and the commitment itself to attend and appear properly and always showing cooperation.
