His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Region, will patronize
the meeting of the meeting of the Friends of Patients in the Region on Tuesday
23 May 2017 at its headquarters.
The
head of the committee, the Director General of Health Affairs in the Eastern
Region, Dr. Saleh Al Saluke said that the meeting will be held at 10 am to
review the achievements of the Committee in the past year 1437, in addition to
the prospects of the activity that the Committee intends to implement this
year.
Al
Saluke said that the establishment of this committee started from the great
goals of sharing the concerns of the patients and the people of the Eastern
Region, contributing to ending their suffering, healing their pain and helping
them to get back to healthy people who are participating in developing their
society and promoting the culture of volunteering, in many of our national
civil and governmental institutions, and the idea of partnership between the
private and public sectors.
He
expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all members of the Committee
for their effective contribution to the implementation of the projects of the
Committee. He pointed that the meeting comes after the Committee concluded a
number of programs in support of a number of centers and departments concerned
and beneficiaries of the Committee.
For
his part, Chairman of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan said that Asharqia
Chamber is aware of the importance of the social role of businessmen in the
Eastern Region as a main pillar of the social development process in the
region. It
has been patronizing the committee for up to 30 years now, and was keen to enhance
the value of volunteering and to spread the principle of public service to all
citizens, based on high performance and responsible by businessmen in the Easter
Region.
Al
Ataishan added that the Chamber has been able to enhance the performance of the
Friends of Patients Committee and expanding its activities in cooperation with
the Directorate of Health Affairs, in recognition of the need of the community
to encourage such positive initiatives and the importance of its role in
establishing and deepening the value of belonging to the Country.
Al
Ataishan pointed that the committee has achieved great steps to stress its
message and vision and achieve its goals in serving the community. It was the
first of its kind in the Kingdom, praising the achievements it made during its
long journey, And
then the contributions of many men who realized the importance of social and
charitable work in the service of the people of the region.
