Asharqia Chamber receives Sheikh Saleh Kamel in reviews of his career path in both public and private sector

Asharqia Chamber represented by Young Businessmen Council received yesterday Sunday April 3, 2011 Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah Kamel,Chairman of Council of Saudi Chambers and Chairman of Jeddah Chamber, in which he spoke about his experience in finance and business to young businessmen within the program (Tajrebty) organized by the Young Businessmen Council.
Kamel who spoke about the features of his experience and his career history and highlighted business progress in the Kingdom and review the successes and challenges faced by both commercial and industrial sectors and his personal vision of socialresponsibility and contributions to the commercial sector and development in segments of society.
Throughout the event; Sheikh Saleh Kamel called to reconsider of some Islamic principles with the economic effect, such as Zakat, Endowments, financial speculations and the Islamic financial transactions, and to prevent short-selling and so on ..
This came within (Tajrebty) program organized on Sunday, April 3, 2011 by the Young Businessmen Council , where Kamel spoke about major steps of his life career, from his early life in Mecca, and joining government sector until present, as one of the most prominent businessmen in the Arab and Islamic world.
And on regard on the Islamic Endowments, said Kamel that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Da'wah and Guidance represented by His Excellency Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheikh agreed to allow Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry to open Endowments funds.
Speaking on the issue of women's work in Saudi Arabia Kamel said that Islam has honored women with dignity, all work are permissible with respect to the privacy condition.
The event was managed by Chairman of Al-Eqtissad Magazine Qusai Al-Badran included a whole interview on the beginnings of his business life playing his favorite game (Al-Kabosh) when he was less than 10 years old, where he discovered his business tendencies , moving from the player role to the seller and producer for the game, saying that this was his first step towards the trade world.
On the initiative of supporting small and medium enterprises, Saleh considered the failure of these facilities to do its required part neglecting of some important aspects of support, which focuses on funding and not paying attention to training and follow-up, as if there is no training and supervision these facilities won't succeed accordingly due to lack of responsibility sense, noting that these facilities represents 70% of the world's economies, although the proportion of loans from the small and medium enterprises in some countries up to 90%, which is evidence of the seriousness, as we sometimes give the required amount and do not endorse the funding process.
He criticized the lack of enthusiasm of young people from businesses, which he described as (abandoned) such as the sale of meat and vegetables, and some of the contracting activities where it became reserved to nationalities, revealing the Jeddah Chamber role in the study of the vegetable market there, where the study reported that those workers reach their income up to 500-1000 riyal per day, which means 30.000 riyals per month, calling for young people to engage in such business.
At the end of the meeting which was marked with the significant attendance, Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman A. Al Wabel honored Sheikh Saleh Kamel with a commemorative plaque.
