Within "Tasheel" program in Asharqia Chamber, SABIC is offering an initiative to develop local content for investors on this Sunday through NOSAND initative.
On Sunday, April 29, 2018, Asharqia Chamber will host the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) during the third session of the Tasheel Program for the Contracting of Strategic Companies. SABIC initiative will be presented to support the vision of 2030.
The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said, "the hosting of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) in the third phase of the Tasheel program is as a celebration of the success of the program in its last two sessions, during which many of the investment opportunities offered to the private sector were presented by strategic corporate giants in the Kingdom: Saudi Aramco and the Saudi Electricity Company.
Al-Khalidi added that the current session of the program would provide a definition of the role and efforts of SABIC in empowering and fulfilling the vision of 2030. It would highlight NOSAND initiative, its role in promoting Saudization efforts in the Kingdom, fulfilling the vision of 2030, and the presentation of the platform "Intimaa" initiative and how to apply in this initiative.
In addition, Alkalidi stressed that the hosting of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), the largest non-oil industrial company in the Middle East and one of the top 10 petrochemical companies in the world, is considered a strong support for investment in the region and is in line with national preferences in both industry and capital.
He mentioned that the program had contributed significantly-when hosting Saudi Aramco and Saudi Electricity Company in its first and second sessions-in enriching the investment movement in the region. He hoped that the seminar would contribute to hosting SABIC's local content development initiative (NOSAND) to stimulate regional economic movement and increase investment opportunities among local manufacturers and suppliers.
