Qiwa platform confirms the "mechanism" of labor services and human resources
The team supervising the “Qiwa” platform of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development clarified that the ministry’s services are now provided “entirely” automatically, and the beneficiary can obtain them easily, through the platform, which is the main digital platform for all services of the Saudi labor system, and the unified interface for organizing and following up all transactions between The various parties to the work system in an automated and immediate manner, without the need for paper transactions, nor the assistance of any third party.
A strong team also confirmed, during a workshop organized by the Contracting Committee of the Asharqia Chamber last Monday (7/11/2022), that this platform was established to launch the labor market for horizons that cover the establishment’s journey from establishment and growth to expansion, and also stepping with the Saudi employee since the first job Until retirement, in support of all the services and tools that create an added value for this trip.
They also stressed the keenness of the Ministry and those in charge of the platform to update the procedures, so that the work systems are clear and highly transparent, because the platform's vision is to "create an integrated competitive labor market, based on transparency to be a cornerstone in supporting the nation's economy," and its mission is to achieve "a qualitative leap." The team also mentioned that one of the most important advantages offered by the platform is the foundation program, which serves entrepreneurs, as the platform offers a grace period of one year when opening the facility file.
As for the rest of the services provided by the platform, they are numerous, most notably the Saudization certificate, changing and modifying a worker's profession, transferring a worker's service, issuing visas, issuing temporary professional visas, service organizing work regulations... and other services that serve establishments and individuals.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber and Chairman of the Contracting Committee Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Hammad moderated the interviews and explained that the Qiwa platform is one of the indications of the developmental steps that the Kingdom has been witnessing in recent years, by entering the world of digitization and electronic automation. It is provided through the official electronic platforms, including the Qiwa platform, as one of the contributions of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the pursuit of achieving the goal of the National Transformation Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
