The Prince of the Eastern Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, patronizes Khafji Investment Forum that is organized by Asharqia Chamber and in a strategic partnership with Aramco Gulf Business in April.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, honored the patronage of the Amir of the region.
He stressed that it represents a great supporter of the continuation of the activities of the Chamber at the level of excellence, which is reflected on its performance in the organization of economic and community events.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber of Eastern Province on the leading role provided by Aramco Gulf Business Khafji for the private sector and the community in Khafji and support for all the growth and development of Khafji, in addition to the company's positive participation of all social events of the people of the province.
Al-Khalidi stressed that the Forum aims to highlight the role of the province of Khafji in achieving the Vision of the Kingdom 2030 through strengthening the role of the private sector as a partner in the national economy and attracting investments to Khafji governorate to maximize the benefits of the governorate's competitive advantages.
Al-Khalidi said that the Forum seeks to identify investment opportunities and attract investment to the province of Khafji.
It also works to educate the private sector on the most important areas of investment in Khafji and enable it to make optimal use of the opportunities and comparative advantages of this governorate, in addition to hosting officials and specialists to discuss ways and mechanisms to overcome the challenges facing investment.
Al-Khalidi said that the province of Khafji enjoys several advantages between the cities of the region in terms of investment and geographical location link between the Gulf Countries, where it has many investment opportunities in a number of economic activities.
He pointed out that the Forum will highlight through the participants on the most important investment opportunities that the business sector can work on, considering that Khafji is fertile ground for investment.
Khafji is considered one of the most important oil regions in the Gulf with a capacity of about 300,000 barrels of oil.
Khafji's reserves of crude oil are estimated at 60 billion barrels.
The governorate also has an unexploited natural gas reserve of 25 billion cubic meters.
