His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd, Governor of the Eastern Province, will sponsor the opening ceremony of the 5th football tournament for companies organized by the Asharqia Chamber on the third of the holy month of Ramadan at the Green Stadium in Dammam.
The Asharqia Chamber has organized the tournament which will begin on July 22 and conclude August 7 , 2012. A Committee of the Chamber discussed the details of the opening ceremony and the necessary arrangements to receive the distinguished guests since the tournament has become a popular sporting event.
The Committee in its last meeting which was chaired by the Chamber's Assistant Secretary General of the Public Relations and Media Dept., Eng Abdul Rahman F. Al Homiyn at the Chamber's headquarter reviewed details and arrangements of the tournament. The Committee stressed the need for taking appropriate measures in order to organize the event that reflects the professional performance of the Chamber.
The tournament offers a car (Cerato) produced by the company (Kia) as grand prize for the participants. In addition, there will be numerous awards valued at more than half a million riyals like modern electronic and communications equipment, computers, tickets for international flights and the costs of staying in five-star hotels.
