Prince Mohammad bin Fahad sponsors SME's Economic Forum on Tuesday

Under the patronage of His Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Fahad Prince of the Eastern Region, Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with Naseba Group organizes the "SME's Economic Forum 2011" to be held in the chamber headquarter in Dammam during the period 29-30 March 2011 corresponding with 24-25 Rabi Al-Thani showing the main constraints faced by the SME's sector to come up with recommendations to highlight more on youth creativity and taking it to the next implementing phase.
The forum will share the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank in support of small and medium enterprises, in which Dr.Ibrahim Al-Hunaishel, General Manager of the Saudi Credit Bank will be the keynote speaker at the Forum.
Al-Hunaishel will tackle several topics of funding solutions and care provided by the Bank for small and medium enterprises under the government order to the Bank in this task.
The Forum is expected to introduce on the first day under the axis (Finance .. challenges and solutions) many experiences of several points upon the participation of Vice Chairman of Kafalah program Mr.Osama Al-Mubarak, and the Executive Director of the BRJ ,Mr.Ibrahim Badawod, and the Executive Director of the Saudi Credit Information (Semah) Mr.Nabil Al-Mubarak. In addition to the Director of banking business in Holandi Bank Mr. Mohammed Al-Mutairi .. Where those representatives will run panel discussions managed by the Board Member Mr. Hassan bin Misfer Al-Zahrani.
With approximately 95% of enterprises in KSA comprising of SMEs, the two-day agenda focuses on supporting and elevating the national producers, generating employment opportunities, vitalizing saudization, expanding the export markets, attracting foreign investment, and encouraging creative innovations adoption.
The forum gathers key government officials, Saudi Arabian SMEs and entrepreneurs from across the KSA to network with larger international corporations, enabling the participants to learn first-hand how to develop and expand either within KSA or beyond.
The two-day forum will also feature an exhibition hosting some of KSA’s top companies interested in advancing entrepreneurship and SMEs within KSA. The c-level participants and attendees will get access to the latest technologies, products, services and solutions.
First day discussion will tackle several discussions comes first: Government and private sector collaboration for resolving SME financing challenges. One of the main challenges for SME worldwide is financing. How does the government and private sector come together to help solve this issue to elevate the SME sector in Saudi Arabia? Learn about the financing options the country is offering SME’s, in addition to the initiatives the private sector is presenting..
Next Panel discussion: Adopting SME ideas through financing; the present and the envisioned.. The Industrial Development Centre and the National Entrepreneurship Institute play an important role in helping SME’s from the beginning when their business is just an idea in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Learn about the adoption process of SME ideas and how such programs partner with other entities to assist SME’s. In addition, learn about the private banking procedures for supporting SME.

Workshop A :SME legal affairs’ consulting is critically important for all business owners to operate their daily transactions. Workshop C: KAFALA program financing SME
There are a number of potential sources SME’s can attain their funding from in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KAFALA program is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Finance to support SME. This session will answer many questions on how the program works and what if offers; the loans, technical, administrative, financial and marketing advice at the highest professional levels to borrowers.
