Industrial Committee indicates a progress in achieving the transactions of customs exemptions
Industrial Committee of Asharqia Chamber discussed during its meeting held last Tuesday, December 21, 2010 the delay issue on granting customs exemptions provided for the industrial sector.
Meeting was headed by Vice President Abdullah Al Sanea who mentioned forming a working team from the National Industrial Council of Saudi Chambers, his task involves dealing with officials in regard of customs exemptions, team has met with General Manager of international conventions of the Customs Authority Abdulaziz Al Romy to explain the suffering of the industrialists on the exemptions delay by the customs.
On the other hand , Committee has commissioned a working group of the first industrial city to meet with the Director of Civil Defense to discuss several outstanding issues in this area.
Members also reviewed the team's report to increase the electricity tariff as has been reviewing the results of the study undertaken by the Committee through a consulting office, which illustrate the extent of the impact of increasing tariffs on manufacturers and industrialists.
