More than 120 companies and institutions are participating in the 2018 Careers Fair, which is organized by Asharqia Chamber in partnership with Dhahran Expo.
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region during the period, Asharqia Chamber will organize 2018 Job Fair from the period 22-25 October 2018, in Dhahran Expo in Al-Raka.
Companies and institutions offer diverse job opportunities for job seekers, where the beneficiaries of the exhibition are required to register in the exhibition through an electronic platform for pre-registration in the exhibition.
This feature allows the job seekers to enter the exhibition directly and move between companies and institutions exhibiting jobs without having to bring the CV, as all of his CV information will be pre-existing on the platform associated with all exhibitors.
In this context, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the Early Registration Service means that all information for applicants will be included in the database of participating companies directly, which enable them to select competencies and communicate directly with them without the need for paper handling.
AlKhalidi pointed out that the exhibition will receive visitors for two periods as of Monday, October 22 (for male only) in the morning from 10.30 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm; and on Tuesday, October 23 (for male only) in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm; and on Wednesday, October 24 (for male only) in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The exhibition will also welcome families visitors on Thursday 25 October in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Al Khalidi explained that this edition of the exhibition, which is held with the participation of a number of companies, institutions and governmental and private entities concerned with the development of human resources, aims to support the efforts of localization of jobs in the private sector, and to highlight the role of the business sector in attracting national talent through providing job opportunities for Saudi youth, and to achieve communication between the business sector on the one hand, and the providers of training and employment services and specialists in the management of human resources and employment on the other hand, and between these bodies and third-party job seekers.
The Job Fair is an important channel for job seekers that opens the way for national talent, which is looking for job opportunities that highlight their energy, achieve their personal aspirations, and support development options.
The Chamber also looks forward to achieving more successes in the past year after the exhibition as it registered a visit of more than 20 thousand job seekers, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.
The number of participants in the exhibition is about 138 companies and institutions provided more than 7 thousand jobs.
This is in addition to the prominent participation of some prominent government bodies, including the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Human Resources Development Fund, and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
