Minister of Trade and Industry sponsored the fifth edition of the "industrialists meeting 2013"
The Minister of Commerce and industry Dr. tawfig alrabiah Sponsors Tuesday 12 November 2013 events ' industrialists meeting 2013 ', organized by the Chamber under the title (the investment opportunities in the manufacturing of petrochemicals and minerals), the Chairman of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Rashed, that this forum will provide a list of investment opportunities in the manufacturing sector (metals and petrochemicals), and will be brought before the industrial investors participating in the meeting by a number of concerned specialists, representatives of the major industrial companies, specifically companies Operating in strategic sectors, most notably the Saudi basic industries Corporation (SABIC).
Al-Rashed described the patronage of his Excellency the Minister of trade and industry Dr. tawfig alrabiah for this event as an important supplement and an indication of the interest of the Minister personally in the industrial sector, its importance to support development plans. He added that the meeting will be held in the main Chamber in Dammam is looking to open more investment prospects and attract more capital and create job opportunities for nationals will launch a number of additional projects in strategic sectors, which are currently the most important areas of national industry, based in the eastern region Center, specifically in cities (Jubail, and Ras Alkhair) industrial, with a large number of giant industrial complexes in the world. AlRashid said that the Chamber has been represented by the industry Committee on his support and development of the industrial sector, and looking through the Centre of the important themes related to the industrial sector, is part of efforts by the Chamber in coordination with stakeholders to develop the industrial sector, the belief in the importance of industry as a strategic option for the future, guarantee of serious and sound mechanism for achieving the goals of sustainable development, aimed at achieving greater economic growth and development and exploitation of natural resources non-oil's Kingdom. Confirming the trend for industrial investment in these areas will add value to the national economy through diversification of sources of income, and create new projects, new products and commodities, contributing to its role in providing meaningful employment opportunities for national competencies, growing day by day, as well as providing work for small and medium-sized enterprises which will have a major role in the activity of the support services for these industries such as sales and marketing.

The Board member and Chairman of the Industrial Committee in the East Chamber Salman bin Mohammed Al-Jishi Said, the meeting will provide a great opportunity for many investment opportunities that we need to go, and to convert them to projects with high profitability, for further growth and development the of the national economy, and opens new doors to local investors, especially with small and medium-sized enterprises.
He added that the industry is a strategic choice to confront fluctuations, and it launched several economic sectors, which is a glorious children of this sector, the eastern region where successive industrial developments is the launch of the third industrial city, the industrial city of Ras al-Khair, Al 2 and 3 to add other industrial cities in Dammam and Khobar, Al-Ahsa, all as we enhance the comparative advantage of the region, being the most attractive to foreign and domestic investment, not only at the level of the Kingdom, But at the level of the Arabian Gulf, it is ' the capital of the Gulf ' in every industry.
