Minister of Culture and Information Sponsors Gulf Economic Media Forum II
Organized by Asharqia Chamber in partnership with Dar Alyaum Publishing House, and the Federation of GCC Chambers
Under the auspices of the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Khoja, and in partnership with Dar Alyaum Publishing House, and the Federation of GCC Chambers, Asharqia Chamber is organizing Gulf Economic Media Forum II, which commences on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 with the participation of a wide range of newspaper Editors in Chief in GCC states, media officials, journalists, experts, economists, specialists and those concerned with the economic media in the Gulf.
The Forum will concentrate on a number of important issues and topics, notably: the global economic changes and Gulf media ability to keep up, social media, the conflict with print media and the real factors that affect the trust among development parties and media institutions.
Mr. Al Rashed, Asharqia chamber Chairman, thanked the organizing partners; Dar Alyaum Publishing House, and the Federation of GCC Chambers, and expressed his appreciation of the teamwork for the preparation for the Forum, which led to the success of the first Forum held in September last year.
